cheap patio/cafe table?

Question by xoxohoot: cheap patio/cafe table?
I’m remodeling the basement with a French theme and in one section I was planning on doing a cafe scene with at least 2 cafe tables. I have not been able to buy the cafe tables yet because I haven’t been able to find any I like at the right price. The cafe or really patio tables (or any other kind of metal like tables) that look like they could be in a cafe really need to fit in the budget because that’s a big part of the French theme and my cash flow is running low. I think a reasonable price would be about $ 80 per table. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find:

a black (or white) cheap (under $ 80) café (patio) tables that are at least 30 inches tall

thanks!!!

I need a nice, cheap storage shed built in my backyard in Charlotte, NC.?

Question by rockdakiss: I need a nice, cheap storage shed built in my backyard in Charlotte, NC.?
I do not want to buy one of those prefabrications from Lowes or Home Depot because they are too expensive for me have to build it myself. I called other handyman but they wanted in the thousands. Nothing big just around 8 by 8

I hear this all the time. Here’s a quick breakdown of my material costs for n 8×8 shed. Approx. 48 2×4′s and 8 sheets of plywood for the walls, about $ 300, roof would be 11 2×6′s for the ridge and rafters and 3 more sheets of plywood or about $ 125. Floor: 2 more sheets plywood and 9 2×6′s or $ 110. Or maybe a concrete floor. Piers for the shed to sit on? $ 40. Roofing paper and a 2 squares of shingles about $ 50, screws, nails, hinges, just the very basics about $ 100. Thats $ 725 in materials for a basic box. No windows, no ramp, no lights, no drip edge, no siding, no trim, no shelves, no paint. Two windows will set you back $ 250, cheap vinyl single pain windows. Add another $ 400-$ 600 for siding, etc and you’re looking at $ 1500+ in materials! Unless you want to go with one of those metal sheds you’ll need to bite the bullet and cough up the cash. Keep an eye out for used materials in the recycle papers in your area. Maybe you hit the jack pot. Good luck to you.
