Sliding patio doors come in standard sizes as well as custom sizes. 6′, 8′ etc.
Measure your opening and go to a glass company (look in the Yellow Pages in your area).
They’ll most likely be more expensive than the ‘home improvement’ stores

Where can you buy 72″ shed doors?
Question by Don: Where can you buy 72″ shed doors?
I am building a storage shed and would like to use 72″ high doors. I have seen them on commercially built sheds but cannot find them for purchase. I would prefer to not have to make them out of wood. I’d like metal or fiberglass clad doors. Any help would appreciated

Help!!! How can I discourage/stop a phoebe from building and rebuilding his nest on my shed doors?
Question by Kendi: Help!!! How can I discourage/stop a phoebe from building and rebuilding his nest on my shed doors?
He is building it right over the door and it’s a great spot, but I have to get in there for the mower and other stuff…I don’t want to scare all the birds out of the yard, just put a stop to this nest building!!!
I keep knocking it down and when I get home from work, Walla- there is a new nest!!! Help!

Not a lot you can do. Maybe you can leave the door open enough to get your stuff out without disturbing the bird. Phoebe’s are pretty accustomed to humans and usually build their nests in or near human dwellings. They’re also stubborn, as you’ve learned.
Nesting will be over in a few weeks. Leave ‘em be, if you can. Every time you disturb the nest you may be killing nestlings.
